Promotional Tactic #10: Internet Forums

If you weren't born yesterday, then you already realise the power of internet forums. Thousands of like minded people, all together, it's a marketers dream. What's especially powerful is that affiliates can go in "under the radar" and make sales without people even noticing!

There are a couple of things to note though. You will do a lot better if you contribute good content to the forum. Make intelligent posts and come across as an authority on muscle building. Don't act like one of those 15 year old kids with too much time on his hands. Spamming a forum with your affiliate link is a great way to get banned immediately.

Another key is to be the guy that people listen to. In every forum, there are sheep and there are shepherds. If you want people to click on your affiliate links and trust you, you need to be a shepherd. Don't follow what other people are doing just because they're doing it. Say what you need to say and stick to your guns.

Just place your affiliate link in the signature that's attached to each post. Don't make any reference to it. If your posts are intelligent enough, people will take notice themselves.
