Promotional Tactic #1: Telling Friends

While this certainly isn't the most high tech tactic, you'd be surprised how effective it is. I've seen people make several sales just by sending a bunch of personal emails to their friends, with their affiliate links attached of course :)

This is especially powerful if you've just bought the product and genuinely want to tell your friends to go get it too. Imagine actually making 3 or 4 times your purchase just by telling a few friends. This fact alone means that it's a no brainer and I like no brainers.

A couple of tips for when you do tell your friends about it. I would recommend not mentioning the fact that you get a commission out of it. When people find you have a vested interest in something, they are less likely to believe you. However, if you have a good relationship with the person, then there's nothing stopping you from telling them about the commission and perhaps offering them a small $10 discount or something? Being creative can make you a lot of money.

While you may not have a list of thousands of friends, since this method converts so highly, it's not a big deal. Since you actually have a relationship with the person, they are much more likely to take your advice, than some random person off the internet. So give it a go today!
